JOIN THE CARE MINISTRY COHORT

Tired of putting out fires?
Needing a system but don't know how or where to start?

You have a heart for the people in your church, but find yourself overwhelmed, lonely, and frustrated with the lack of systems that keep you from caring for them.

You have found yourself wondering...

  • Will you ever find the time to build this ministry?
  • What are other church's doing to make their care ministry work so well?
  • How do I prioritize and meet all the urgent needs of my congregation?
  • Does anyone else feel as overwhelmed as I do?

Believe me, friend, you are not alone.

Imagine if:

Your church had a culture of care and strategy that is sustainable.
You could have confidence that your congregants are cared for by a team rather than exhausted leaders.
All the hard work is done for you. All you have to do is implement templates, samples, and guides into your already-existing ministry.
An Invitation From Laura:

Your care ministry is the greatest opportunity for people to find the love and hope of Christ. You don't have to lead it alone.

So ... What's a Cohort?

I'm so glad you asked! ;)

A cohort is a group of 15-20 ministry leaders singularly focused on building a care ministry for their local church.

We meet weekly for 6 months as we walk through a proven process of developing a care ministry that is both strategic and sustainable.

Collaborate with other leaders while being led through a step-by-step process that helps you create a plan, develop community partners, develops systems and pathways, and build a team.

What's Included:

COMMUNITY

No more going it alone.

Join a community of care leaders who are ready to level up the care their churches offers.

Collaborate, share resources and encourage one another as you strengthen your local church.

TEMPLATES

Get a jump start.

By having templates, downloads, and pathways for you to customize, all the guesswork is taken out.

Create policies, training modules and forms customized for your church in just a few clicks.

ACCOUNTABILITY

I get you.

Having worked as a clinician and as a church care coordinator I understand the problems you're facing.

Brainstorm, strategize and get feedback about how you develop a culture of care at your church.

The Schedule:

MONTH 1: Building a Plan

Before starting any project it is wise to know what you are starting with, determine where you want to go, prepare the project and figure out what determines success.

 MONTH 2: Building Your Team

There are too many needs for one pastor to care for and many times there are other people who are more skilled to provide pastoral or spiritual care than the pastor. So with the goal of building a culture of care, where many people are equipped and empowered to offer care, we need to build a team.

MONTH 3: Building Programs

Many churches have a few core programs that are part of their care ministry (prayer, benevolence, meals, and spiritual care) so in month 4 we focus on being strategic and strengthening core programs.

MONTH 4: Building Capacity

4 key areas (team wellness, crisis planning, ethics and boundaries, and policies/procedures) will build the capacity for your church to offer care and to scale as your church needs grow.

MONTH 5: Building Communication

In month 6 we look at how your church communicates about its care ministry. We can create the greatest care ministry in the world but if people don’t know it exists or how to access it, it’s pointless.
